The Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) is a global non-profit organization founded in 2000 and headquartered in London. Its main goal is to encourage companies, cities, regions and government agencies to disclose their environmental impact data, especially information related to climate change, water management and forest protection, in order to promote environmental transparency and sustainable development.


In 2024, a total of 22,700 global companies participated in the CDP assessment, and only 78 companies received double A scoring for Climate and Water (accounting for 0.3%); 205 companies received double A- or above scoring (accounting for 0.9%); 1,243 companies received double B- or above scoring (accounting for 5.5%).


In the 2024 CDP assessment, Argosy acquired a Climate B and Water B- scoring, ranking between #975 and #1,243 in the world, which is the top 4.3% to 5.5% in the world, and moreover are higher than the electronics industry average C & C scoring. Our Climate and Water scores have both improved from “Recognition Level C” in 2023 to “Management Level B” in 2024.

We will continue to work on reducing greenhouse gas emissions, improving water resource utilization efficiency, and paying attention to climate and water risk management policies to enhance environmental management capabilities and meet the sustainable development requirements of stakeholders such as customers and investors.

CDP Scoring Description

  • Leadership level (A or A-): The company can work with CDP to advance environmental governance and demonstrate best practices in strategy and action.
  • Management level (B or B-): The company can provide evidence of good environmental management based on its understanding of the extent of its impact on the environment. In addition to reviewing management actions, this level also measures whether the company is moving towards the goal of becoming a leader in the field
  • Awareness level (C or C-): The company can conduct a comprehensive assessment of its business scope and environmental issues, but does not include specific actions
  • Disclosure level (D or D-): The company can answer most of the questions in the questionnaire. The score of each item depends on the information required and its importance
